A Poem In Your Pocket

Genevieve
Your mask of make believe…
You wear it so well
No one can tell
That so far at the bottom of the well
Is your real deceit
The mask you hide behind indeed
Will be your demise one day
Truly you must know
Somehow your mask will come
Undone in pieces wear away
By grieve
Love lost
Trust unravel
Self loathing
Deep seething insecurities
Low self esteem
Your mask of make believe
You wear it so well
Will be your demise one day
Genevieve
